Special Senses!

What i know about the special senses is that, these senses are sight, hearing, tasting, feeling, and smell. If i were to discuss this topic, it would be easy because we use these senses everyday. I would discuss to them the uses of these senses. In sense of sight, we use the eyes. In our sense of hearing, we use our ears. In our sense of taste we use our tongue which can taste sweet, sour, bitter, salty. In our sense of smell we use our nose. Lastly, we use our skill which can feel pain, hot, cold, and other things we can feel physically. My comments to the reporter is to use the visual aids in the board.

Endocrine System!

It has been long since i wrote another blog in this account. Anyway, what i know in the endocrine system is that it is mostly concerned with our glands. From what sir thought us, endocrine has something to do with our hormones and genes in our body. If i were to explain this topic, i would start explaining the glands and their hormones, especially their functions. Then i would explain the different diseases and abnormalities in concern with the endocrine gland. My comment to my teacher is to use flow charts. I kinda miss them. :)

Nervous system Part 2

Well, its been a while since i typed my new blog. Let's get started, what i know in Nervous system part 2 that it focuses on the brain and it's functions. Also that there are two division which are the left and right hemispheres. If i were to explain the brain, i would also use the concept map that the reporter did. Also, the use of images of a brain. If possible i would use a figurine of a brain. My comments to the reporter is that she must be able to understand the difficult pronunciation of the words.

nervous system

I've learned from the reporter that the nervous system is divided into 2 parts the central nervous system(CNS) and the peripheral nervous system(PNS). If I were the reporter, I would use more illustrations. I would also summarize the topic and list the important details. If would to read the whole chapter(as what the reporter did with little visual aid) I would stand up straight, hold the book properly and read clearly and loudly. The presentation would have been better if the reporter used images and understand the topic more better. it would have been clear if the reporter reviewed about the different words found in the topic.

Muscular system

In this topic i learned that our muscles are like strings that are tightly packed together to form a muscle. Also that it helps us in our everyday movements and social living. If i were to explain the muscular system. i would use concept maps, facts, and trivia. In another method i would use pictures and other visual aids. If i were my teacher, i would have let the students take on some trivia and ask them to debate about the topic that have been discussed.

Skeletal system

I've learned from my report that skeletal system is the framework of the body. Also that the skeletal system protects some important parts in our body. If I were again to explain the skeletal system, I would use pictures for the movement of the bones and joints. I would also explain the different and unfamiliar words and define them. I will also use an actual skeleton to make explaining more easier (if available). If i were my teacher, I would have done the same things using concept maps and defining the words. It would have been better if he let us done some seatworks and boardworks.
