Muscular system

In this topic i learned that our muscles are like strings that are tightly packed together to form a muscle. Also that it helps us in our everyday movements and social living. If i were to explain the muscular system. i would use concept maps, facts, and trivia. In another method i would use pictures and other visual aids. If i were my teacher, i would have let the students take on some trivia and ask them to debate about the topic that have been discussed.

Skeletal system

I've learned from my report that skeletal system is the framework of the body. Also that the skeletal system protects some important parts in our body. If I were again to explain the skeletal system, I would use pictures for the movement of the bones and joints. I would also explain the different and unfamiliar words and define them. I will also use an actual skeleton to make explaining more easier (if available). If i were my teacher, I would have done the same things using concept maps and defining the words. It would have been better if he let us done some seatworks and boardworks.

Nucleic acid

I have learned in nucleic acid that there are two types which are deoxyribonucleic acid or DNA and ribonucleic acid or RNA. nucleic acids are also found in viruses and cells. I would explain nucleic acid using pictures and illustrations. I will also explain the different words that can be found in this topic. My teacher uses power point to illustrate to us the nucleic acid. He should have used more drawings because some are not clear to me (ONLY some). Sir is very good at teaching it would have been better if he let us done some critical thinking for challenge.

Lipids

I learned in lipids that there are two parts that in with and without fatty acid. In which the two have more division like complex and simple lipids (the complex are with fatty acid and simple are without fatty acid). If would explain lipids, i would explain that they are hydrophobic. Lipids also have carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. Lipids are also organic. My comment to my teacher is that he uses concept maps which is also good, but i would prefer to use power point presentation and just bullet type it. It would have been more better if there were more exercises.

Carbohydrates

I have learned that there are three types of carbohydrates namely Monosacharides, Disacharides, and Polysacharides. Disacharides and poly sacharides form when monosacharides combine. Two monosacharides form disacharides and three or more builds polysacharide. If i were to explain to someone, i would use illustrations and sample structure of the three types. I will also include some facts and trivia so that the listeners will be more interested. My teachers teaching is good and he explains simply the structures. He also gives us exercises to make sure we fully understand the lesson. His teaching would have been better if he let us did the structure of the carbohydrates.

Mitosis

I have learned in mitosis that it is a repeating cycle in reproduction of a cell. Also, that there are five phases of mitosis which are Interphase, Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, and Telophase. I would explain mitosis by phase and the structure of each phase. The difficult terms would be explained simply with illustrations. I would also give papers in which all difficult words are listed. My comments to my teacher would be the use of power point presentation for us understand better. Though my teacher uses power point still he give us more examples. My teacher's method of teaching is very simple and easy to understand.

Cell

I have learned that a cell could be compared to a city or community. Each part of a city corresponds to a part in the cell. If i were to explain to someone I would use some illustrations and explain that a cell has the reproduction through mitosis. I will also explain the parts and the functions of it to someone. If i were my teacher, I will also use power point or by OHP. My comments to my teacher, is that he is explain his lectures in the simple way. He also knows that when we fully understand the topic.
